Inditex

Designing global retail experiences.

2025 – Now · UX Consultant · Digital Product

Context

For the past year I've been operating remotely as part of the Redbility team, fully embedded as a UX Consultant within Inditex's internal product design operations. My mandate spans their core operational verticals: initially Logistics, and currently Distribution.

I design and refine the proprietary tools that act as the backbone of Inditex's global omnichannel strategy, the systems that guarantee millions of customers worldwide can seamlessly locate specific products at their nearest physical store, while strictly accounting for regional and cultural nuances.

The problem

At this scale, every point of friction compounds: teams interact daily with business-critical distribution systems where delays and errors translate directly into operational losses. The real design challenge isn't screen layout, it's architectural strategy: abstracting a labyrinth of global supply chain data and logistical constraints into efficient, usable interfaces.

My role & decisions

  • Modernizing how teams interact with business-critical distribution systems, implementing agentic systems and generative interfaces to reduce friction, delays, and operational losses.
  • Unified Inditex's warehouse systems into a single maintenance tool, and designed 5S (safety, order, and cleanliness) operational workflows.
  • Daily focus on turning complex logistical constraints into interfaces that empower internal teams and drive business value.

Why this matters now

This is AI as a design material in production: agentic systems doing real work inside one of the world's largest retailers, not a concept deck. Deciding when an agent should act and when a human must stay in control is, at this scale, a design problem with operational consequences.

** These tools are mission-critical business assets, so my work here is bound by NDA — I can't show interface visuals. Happy to talk through the approach in conversation.
